hi i am confused. i have a pal ps2 that came with a modchip inside and a us network adaptor. well i am trying to buy hd advance but i don't know if it is going to work on my ps2 coz there are 2 version pal and ntsc. which version should i buy? also am not sure if my network adaptor works or not coz everytime i tried to use it wit a us made game, it says error code 402. i guess that is because of the modechip. but i can't now it for sure since i don't have a online pal ps2 game. can anyone help me with all those questions

What MAke is the modchips, Some modchips can turn off so you can play online, and then theres no point of haveing a hardrive with hd advance un less you dont wanna use cds anymore. But buy the PAL Version if you want to get hd advance

hi there you confusedafter reading that im confused so let try and sort you out

you have a chipped PAL ps2

a network adapter im asuming when you say us you mean the network disk is NTSC if so that not a prob as chip will sort it

for a PAL ps2 you need a PAL hd loader i got mine of ebay for about £17

if you get NTSC you will have more probs

i think you get that code because you are using a NTSC game on a PAL system (not 100% sure on that)

as far as i know you carnt play backup online but not sure due to not doing it

thanks guys. but what if i a want to use hd advance for NTSC game on a PAL ps2 do i still need the PAL version?
i don't think that i need the cd for the network cause it is working fine right?
