Can't get decrypter to read ps2 game GUN

Keep trying to decrypt ps2 game, GUN, but about 44% done it gives error. Help ne1. thx

What file system are you using for Windows, NTSF or FAT32? If your using FAT32 you wont be able to store files that are bigger than 2gb (i think its 2gb)and you will have to do a format to NTSF. Also is the game scratched and have you tried any other applications?

Another thing it could be is a scratch on the dvd... check the condition of the dvd first.

You could also change the options in DVD Decrypter to see if that helps... go to the tools menu <settings>, click the iso read tab..
then where it says file splitting (I have mine set to auto) you could change that setting to 2gb... click ok. then try reading the disc again, if it reads it ok.. remember to burn it with DVD Decrypter and select the mds file as the source, this will tell DVD Decrypter how to burn that onto disc.
If it doesn't work, change the setting back to auto... let us know how you got on and if you need more help will try ok?

Thx for the reply guys! I think it was scratched. Got another one and it read just fine. I'm glad u told me about the 2gb max and fat32, ntsf file systems though. Good to know.

No worries mate.. it's sometimes the simplest things like scratches or bad media that fouls people up when it comes to backups. Glad it worked for you in the end :)
