Can you use the skip doctor scratch repair on a swap magic disc without damaging it?

will it mess up the disc, since the disc has those circles on the back?

I think those circle are to kill what's on the original discs. Swap Magic is pressed on real PS2 discs. The Swap Magic boot info doesn't take up too much space. So it's hard for me to imagine scratching it to the point where it doesn't work. If it's not working and you have a Skip Dr. it can't hurt try it.
