For about a year now iv had my swap disks.

I use an NEC to backup my ps2 games and it works great. I get good read times through DVD Decrypter..on average about 3-8 minutes depending on size of iso... had it for about a year now with no problems..easy to update the firmware too. Mine is the NEC ND3520A with latest firmware, so yours would be a newer model. I recommend it anyway... you will get a lot of different responses maybe as everyone's computer will be different and even the same drives could get different results depending on what they have running on their computers etc.. all we can give is an opinion based on our own experiences.

good luck

There Both Just as good, but I'd choose Sony, because more popular brand and its your choice

PS2 Slimline + Swap Magic + Fan
PS3 60gb Version 1.90
PSP 3.52 M33 EUR Black Version + Logitech Hard Case + Logitech 3 Sound Speakers + 2gb Sony Memory Stick
Nintendo Wii + 3 Wii&Nunchuck Controllers
NDS Original + M3 Simply + 1gb Kingston MicroSD
NDS Lite + M3 Simply + 2gb Sandisk MicroSD

Yep, should be ok.. but the sony dru??? is a writer of choice for a lot of people too as 3dluis said.. so either one should be ok.

I just prefer not to go with sony personally, well apart from the ps2 and the ps3 when it finally gets released ;) then we'll all be waiting for the next generation burners to come out that'll burn HDD and blueray discs. wonder how much they'll try and sell them for, LOL.

good luck with whichever burner you go with man, post again if you have any probs or wnat to know anything.. i'll be happy to help out if I can :)

Sony DRU if you are willing to spend a little more $$$
I know a few people that have them, including myself and love them. No one that i have reccomended them to, and who actually bought one, has ever given me any bad feedback about them.
Think that they are actually made by Lite ON from what i had heard.
