Hi, can anyone tell me if there is anyway to backup PS2 and play them without a modchip? I have heard of swapdiscs but do not know anything about it.
PLEASE HELP, i spend waaaaay too much money on rented games and late charges, cause i have a 4 year year old boy that is addicted to PS2 and he wont let me bring games back, so they are always late.

Where you based Reenie? in the UK there's a few great game rental by post places... I personally go with www.gametart.com to rent my games to check out if they're worth buying, rent for as long as you want(so no late fees) for £15 a month(2 games at a time).. check them out if you're in the UK.
I'm sure there are probably places wherever you are if that's the way you want to go.

And of course there's also the swap magic discs etc.. there's a link to the swap magic site in my signature.

No, you need an original... it won't work with a copied disc. you also need the case modification to go along with the swap magic discs... check out the link to the swap magic site in my signature, it'll tell you what you need to go along with what console you have... then you can do a google search to find out where you can get them from. I don't know anywhere in Canada as I'm in the UK, but maybe the american online store will ship to canada anyway.
