yes my cd booted perfectly too and i copied the saves over to the mem card i had 3 files to copy over one system data save and 2 actual saves

the system data worked for me in resident evil 4 and it showed all this stuff that was unlocked but when i went to load the actuall save files (the other two) i didnt see anything but the saves were there on my memcard cause i saw it in the ps2 memcard viewer thing but the game didnt detect any saves except the system data one so im not gonna bother with this shit anymore cause i followed the instructions exactly and im sure that ive done nothing wrong so i just started the game again and ive already caught up yo where i was so its all good thanks for your help guys

When i try to boot ps2menu, it shows the loading screen and hangs after this line:
Loading ps2netfs.irx

I've tried burning it 3 different times, on different media..and nothign seems to be working. Is there any software I can use besides ps2menu. Also, I read on a different forum that this may be related to the ps2 network adapter (which i don't have).

I'm using swap magic 2.0 , with a fliptop

Thanks in advance.

When it loads up to that os2 netfs, You just gotta wait, trust me
it happen to me and took about 30 secs to load after that loading things happen.

@leonbasin - Well, i've never tried copying 3 saves of the same game to my memory card lol. So i dunno.

@SS2006 - When you press CD FS, it should show the contents of the cd. Make sure the files on the cd are NPO format for the saves, and make sure they are actually on the cd. Tell me what you see when you press cdfs

leon.. can you please do me a favour, I'll owe you one.

Can you describe *in perfect detail* the steps you took to make your iso and burn the disc. Also, include any other details such as the version of your ps2, media, etc.

Thank you very much, I would really really appreciate it...

well all i did was follow "exactly and "precisely" what the guide said and i have a duo2 modchip in my playstation 2 and the model of my playstation 2 is scph39002 which is the one of the last versions of the big bulky ps2's
i used a sony 700 meg cdr to burn the disc and it boots up perfectly but i did have trouble booting at first when the ps2 went all crazy and made screeching sounds but thats why you have to use a dummy file in your image so it prevents the ps2 from screeching on boot up and lets the cd boot oh and i didnt use any old dummy file cause i had to download a little program which makes a dummy file for you which is 1 meg exactly and than you increase the size of it in the program just like the guide sais

Do you know what the TOC of your disc was after you included the dummy file? And did you set the LBA to 3000?

I want to use your iso and replace your npo with mine.

Thanks again :)

I followed the directions exactly. I am using Swap Magic CD to load the disc. When I switch the Swap Magic with the other cd, the screen turns red and my ps2 sounds like it is revving up and it just stays like that. What am I doing wrong.

well your not supposed to make a dvd version only a cd version and its better to have a modchip cause it worked for me with a modchip but i had some problems

overall after i followed all the instructions i had a few save gaems on there the actual save files did not get recognized by the game but they were there on the memory card but the third file which wasnt a save but had all unlockables worked and all these stuff was unlocked when i started up the game so it semo-worked for me with resident evil 4 on ps2 i didnt know how to get the actual save games going though

I've been trying to get this to work, but haven't had much luck so far. I can get PS2MENU to boot just fine, but it freezes up during/after the process of loading all of the .irx files. I was initially having it freeze up on a blank line after "Loading ps2netfs.irx", so I thought that it might be related to the fact that I don't have a network adapter or a HDD for my PS2. So I tried substituting PS2MENU v2.4, which doesn't include network support but still supports copying files from CD.

Same problem, but slightly different. Everything goes fine at first but PS2MENU just freezes, and the last line shown is "Loading cdvd.irx", with the cursor on the next blank line. I've Googled and haven't come up with much.

Any ideas?
