2nd hdd (w2k) lost file system after burn

I just completed burning a copy of the the longest yard using dvdd, dvdshrink, nero6. I copy the decrypted file to 2nd HDD in a temp folder,then shrink and burn. Following the burn I went to delete the contents of the temp folder but could not access the 2nd HDD. The explorer could see the drive but not the contents. I checked the disk through disk management which showed the disk and its size but did not show the file system (NTFS). I decided to restart and received a blue screen of death. I restarted the computer and still have the same condition regarding the 2nd HDD. If I try to click on the 2nd HDD in explorer it says that the disk is not formatted and do I want to format now? I had some movie files on this drive and would like to recover if possible. Any thoughts?
