one of those Y Pb Pr cords for my DVD recorder and connect it to my DVD player, will I be able to recoder DVD movies from my DVD player to my DVD recorder?

As long as the discs are not copy protected .. If you have a Macrovision hack for your recorder than it diesn't matter

ok i just hacked my dvd recorder to region free, so all I need now is that y pb pr cord and record from my dvd player to my recorder?

no, you need a macrovision hack which you could look for by going to http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks or if you have a dvd burner copy it in the computer and it will get rid of the macrovision if you use dvd decrypter then dvd shrink to shrink your dvd then burn with imgburn and then you could use it but i dont think you do if you want to record one.(buy a dvd burner if you dont have one, go to http://www.newegg.com and they have decent dvd burners for 39.99)

I went to that web-site and thats where I got the code to hack my dvd recorder. so your telling me that it wont work now even if I get one of those y pb pr cords?
