I'm thinking of building a pc/notebook something like a laptop version of a palmpilot, I have all the books to build a pc and how to make an operating system and computer programs, but what I haven't found is books on how to build a monitor or a touch-screen, I would like to build a full size touch-screen monitor, does anybody know how to build one or atleast know of some books I could buy?
Any help would be welcome.

Its not going to be easy to build a screen of any kind since its machines that make screens and not people
i would say to build the rest of your machin but if you want a touch screen buy one

what i mean by its not going to be easy is thats its not going to be possible... seriously
i very much doubt that anybody on here will give you any aid in building something that you cant really build.
if you really want to build a screen then it is possible but youll have to go to a large firm in japan with some very clever people to find out how
