I have a new Plextor 740a and about half the time my software will not recognize the drive.I am using shrink,decrypter and nero 6.6,When I open the software I get the "no drives detected" in the drive space.I can reboot my pc and the drive will show back up.The drive shows up in the bios and in device manager always.(drive working properly).
This is the 2nd new drive to have this problem,and I sent the first one back for a refund.I have had the drive set to master and now to cs,still the same problem.No virus or spyware problems.The pc is a new dell 3000.How can this be corrected????
