Alright folks....so being a wiseguy that I am, i go out and buy myself a Gigabyte Radeon X800PRO aight. Little did i know that if you have a 2.8 Celeron D with 8KB Level 1 cache and 128KB Level 2 cache, no video card in existence will run on my badboy cpu. I got a mere 3,100 on 3DMark '05
and i get completely raped up the a$$ when i try playing Quake 4 on 1024x768 resolution with any anti-aliasing. But i got a couople questions. First, I heard you can buy "cache chips" for you level 3 cache if your motherboard supports it. Is that true? and also, I got 512MB ram...if i buy 512 more....ill i get any performance increase in my games? Thanks a lot!
