Ok this is what happened, for some reason when I got god of War I extracted the files with DVD decrypter but as files and not as an iso. Now my problem is to redo the files into an iso so that I can burn it. however, i dont have the original game anymore because my brother let his friend borrow it and his Ps2 was stolen with the game inside, but anyways.
Does somebody know how to rework the files back into and iso?

wow i guess you learn something new everyday, do you know how you didn't get an iso with decrypter? i know that its unsupported now that may be why but i doubt it. i get an iso when i put this game to my hardrive, are you sure you haven't extracted with isobuster?
this will tell you what to do next when your iso is sorted out, its a fix for the game obviously, i'm not sure you'll need it if you have a soldered modchip however it will need to be capable of playing dual layer(i think) dont quote me on that. there are other on the forum capable of helping you further than I as I haven't been doing much with ps2's for a while now.
I noticed that you've already tried to rebuild it too.. cos you have the part1.pak_new file on there. So you must have tried the sonix DVD9 to DVD5 rebuild? in which case I'm guessing that you don't have a dual layer supported modchip?
The only advice I can give you as I don't know where you got to in your rebuild is to look through the guide again and follow it exactly.. then I might be able to help you out with the filelist. is that what you were asking for in the first place?
OK I remember now i tried to rebuild it once so that could use it with an HD but I lefted like that but i don't remember why. If someboy can help me, so that I can rebuild it back to DVD9 and put it into my HD
The easiest way you could do that now is to just borrow the original from somewhere to get the iso to the hard drive again... as no-one knows what you did to the original files, even if they told you what order the files should be in there's no guarantee it would work.. so just get the game from somewhere and rip the iso to the hard drive again.
Also, as the other poster said.. you can't just put this game onto a dula layer disc and play it on your ps2 unless you have a modchip that supports dual layer. if you have swap magic you have to rebuild it to a DVD-5 for it to work.
For the modchip well I have a dms4 lite with toxic 1.4. so, I don't think the med is a problem. But, yeah I will be getting the game again so that I could recopy it.
Yep, that modchip is good, not sure if the bios is latest but should still support dual layer I think..
Then it's just a simple matter of reading the iso with DVD Decrypter to hard disc and I think you can burn it with DVD Decrypter to dual layer too... if not, then use Nero burn image program or similar.
(if you already knew that then sorry, but it's hard to tell what people do and don't know sometimes, LOL)

I could probably have told you that the file to go into the second layer was just the part2.pak file and all the rest go into first layer.. minus the _new file, but as I said earlier, i don't know what you did to the files inside pak files, so it might not have worked that way anyway.. and you'd have had a very expensive dual layer coaster...
