Hi Guys,
I wasn't sure where to post this question, but I have a Mad Dog 8x NEC DVD_RW 2500A USB drive. I would like to use booktyping to make my movies more compatible with DVD players.
Is there a booktype utility I can download for my drive out there anywhere? I use any dvd and 1 click dvd copy to back up movies can I use booktyping with that software.
Thanks everyone.
celeron 2.8, 2x 80hd, 1 gig ram, mad dog ext 8x dvd+/-r
1 click DVD / AnyDVD, Dvd-Cloner 2, Dvd Shrink / Dvd43

iam not sure you can booktype with one click but you can booktype with DVD Decrypter ,open DVDD booktype to DVD-ROM close out DVDD open up one click do your dvd and it should read DVD-ROM after you burn it as long as your burner supports booktyping ,yopu can also booktype with nero

Hi,
Ok I installed the Herrie107v2b5 firmware with binflash. It was actually quite easy. Then I used Binflash to change my +R setting to DVD Rom.
I tried burning a movie twice with 1 Click Dvd Copy and Any Dvd. Both times towards the end of the burn I get an error message says something like improper media burn failed.
I burned the same movie using Dvd-cloner and when it was done I checked disc info on the +R disk and it said DVD Rom and played fine.
I perfer using Any Dvd and 1 Click Dvd Copy do you know of anyway to fix this ??
