If it does it as quick as you want it to, then it's good.
If your impatient and you find your drumming your fingers on the desk, then its not good.
It will however do the job quite nicely.
Maybe get a DVD ROM as well so you don't have to change disks half way through, they also tend to be quicker than writers.

I used to have an ATI X800 XT PE before in my old rig, which was good, but this thing blows it away.
I can easily run most of my games in ultra quality mode 1600x1200 without a glitch.
I don't think theres a better card available, even on it's own, but eventually it will be in a pair run in SLi mode, but I have to wait a while to justify the costs.
Main problem I think it will be about £550 as standard, I got it for £300, as I get most of my parts cheap.
The noise level is far lower than any other card I've used before, even when it kicks into full spin it's still quieter than most others in tick-over.
The heat output is lower too.
If you can afford it, then definately get it, you won't be dissapointed!

I have a few contacts working in system testing.
They normally get the items free to test and report on them, items are either returned or bought cheap and kept for (personal use) ?I mean? compatibility testing.
Bits I get, either go in my PC?s or on system builds which get sold on to friends.
Depending on how scarce the parts are, effects the price I have to pay, these were in very limited supply.
