HP dvd writer 200e

my HP dvd writer 200e cannot read blank DVDs (so i cannot write my new movie). but it do read dvd vedio disc. why?

What DVD format media you using? DVD-R or DVD+R

What I have seen with searching is that it only suports DVD+R and DVD+RW media.

So if your using DVD-R media that could be your problem.

DVD+R. Maybe the laser diode decayed. but it can read full disc.
