well, i just noticed recently that when i try to backup a movie it takes like an hour. I use the shrink & dvd decrypter programs. ALso, went into the device manager and checked to see if it was my dma settings and they r set at dma. SO does anybody know why this is happening or maybe any other suggestions for me to do? It was doing fine until today. NOt sure why? ALso i have the update version of both programs that i am using. Also, i have a Hp desktop wins xp that burns at 16x and not sure on why its burning at like 1x..

What speed do you have Decrypter set to burn, perhaps it is set to 1x, if so change to burn at 4x, or whatever you normally burn at?

Hi Lisa,

Use quality media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxell Made In Japan.

Also don't burn above 4x, this will prevent playback issues.
