I am sure this topic has been covered, but I haven't been able to find an answer yet. I have just purchased the Liteon lvw-5005x. I was able to update the firmware from liteon, but should I do the one from Ilo? I have read that it works best with the 5005 only. Also, my DVR from insight cable remote works on the same frequency as my liteon remote. Does anyone have a fix for this? Also, so far my recordings have a buz in them. I tried to copy tv programs from my DVR to my 5005x. I am just now trying to record with the firmware upgrade so this may be fixed. Any tips would be appreciated!
