Hey pirata69, i totally agree with Lethal_B on the P2P clients you should use. I myself was using limewire pro, eDonkey, and Bittorrent. I know a lot right?!? Then I found shareaza. It is distributed under the GPL (General Public License) so it has absolutely ZERO spyware/adware/malware. Now limewire connects to Gnutella, eDonkey connects to ed2k, and Bittorrent downloads torrents. Now Shareaza is 100% free searches Gnutella, Gnutella 2(new Gnutella network very popular now), can download torrents, and can connect to ed2k (the eDonkey network)!! Its like getting 5 programs rolled into 1 great package. Please give it a try i assure you you wont be disappointed. heres the site shareaza.com if you have any questions please post them i always answer back in 24 hours or less -PeaInAPod

For the record I am not a "bot" Pirata69. And MNA is wrong and Lethal_B is right download the free version of limewire and then download the paid version of Limewire. But to install limewire you'll need Java Runtime Enviroment. But like i said before Shareaza searches Gnutella 1 and Gnutella 2. the ed2k network(eDonkey) and can handle BitTorrents. This is my new favorite. PeaInAPod NOT A BOT! A person in Illinois.

could it be that your comp is too slow? Limewire loads up within 10 seconds on mine and my computer is nothing special by any stretch of the imagination...

Frostwire over Bittorrent? No way? what do you mean by..
Quote: sucks in my area
~ ?
I use limewire/frostwire for the odd song, but bittorrent has so much more to offer than the likes of frostwire. With BT you get more organization, more files, better files, better searches....I just can't see what frostwire can offer -bar the odd song- that would make you choose it over BT....

don't have much xperience in gntuella(limewire, bearshare, shareasa) so i'm not gonna knock it, but my past experience says it sucks. Emule(overnet, emule, edonkey and BT(utorrent, bitcomet, bitornado) or my weapons of choice.also DC++ is good for if you have a large amount of files. Ares is sort of like gnutella super fast if thats your thing I'm more into quality, not to say the others a mention aren't fast, you just have to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and configure them properly.
If you do go with limewire, then take ozzy advice cause soon limewire will have to filter there program. Try frostwire or cabos (bascially opensource versions of limewire)
