I downloaded the PS2 USB Extreme iso and burned it to DVD+R, But when I insert it into my console, i receive the message after some time, "This disc cannot be Played", or This disc is not playable, or something like that.
But because it boots i think it works,
I havent yet connected a hard disk,because i sent for one and it hasnt yet arrived.
could the message be because i havent yet connected the hard disk, or is it the disk with a problem.
Or is that the message that i should be getting when i insert the disc without connecting a HD. all help will be appreciated

I think it has to be the original disc... unless you boot with swap magic first, then it might work

No, if you have a boot method it should work I think... so maybe you burned it wrong or it's not a good iso.
Personally I'd go with an original, you never know what you could be downloading.. but it's your choice ultimately, and I know that others on here would probably disagree with my choice :)

wat's the actual size of the iso file, so that i can confirm with mine. I downloaded the iso because, where i am right now, there aint no stores with such accesories. i am on holiday in uganda. then will be going to australia. so i really need it.

But should the disc boot when there isnt any HD connected to the PS2?
And where do u recommend i download the iso from.
Can anyone please get me that iso????

I don't have USB extreme and even if I did it's notoriously hard to copy, same as swap magic etc.
You can't ask someone for the iso on here, it's against forum rules to request pirated material or to tell you where to get it from. You'll have to just try some torrent sites or google search for it or something.
The only thing you can do is try it and see if it works with your usb hard drive, if it doesn't then you know it's a fake or burned wrong... and as far as I know, no stores in any country stock things like swap magic, usb extreme or whatever.. you usually have to buy it over the internet.

Yes It, should even if there is NO hard drive attach to the USB of the PS2
