Make me a sticky!
I've been scouring the web for a list of compatable ISOs for use with UMD Emulator. I'm going to list what I have, and you can either correct me, provide settings to make the game work that may differ from the default settings, or add to my list.
PLEASE- Keep this thread on topic.

puzzle booble is working also. I used with umd emulator before. everything works exactly as it shoud including savegames and sound

Click on the link you just posted under, it says in that it works in loader 0.7, so i'm guessing that means it doesn't work in umdemulator 0.8c...

A very simple method of working out if a game is compatiable.
All games released around this time early 2006 as such are most likely 2.0 + most game released in the early days of psp untill now are most likely 1.5 - 2.0. I use this method and 95% of the time i get it correctly.

Yeah, agreed, it's just common sense, but the mayhem list is useful to see what settings you need to run it and with which loader.

it says in ur compatibility list that madden 06 is working. however, i have both Fastloader and UMDEmulator and madden isnt working on either of those.

Why my "Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire" is stuck when i've finished Chapter Defence of the Dark Art II and try to play Hogwart Exterior? I used UMD Emulator V.08 to play its ISO File..
Anyone could explain to me?

Yes Madden is working. I will tell you what all I did and I am not sure what actually got it working. First I installed Wab Version Changer (to make it look like I have 2.0 even though I have 1.5) And I use UMDEMULATOR v8c.
Here are the settings I have on UMDEMULATOR.
CPU/Bus Speed- 333/166 MHz
Iso Emulation : System Menu
Disctype ISO : Game
DiscType UMD : game
Updater Icon : Memstick
Use boot : on
Regioncode override : on
Regioncode game : regionfree
Regioncode video : regionfree
Flash0 emulation : on
Flash1 emulation : on
now when you start it up and select a game it will go back to the main menu.. Move it up to the UMD symbol and it will change to the game you loaded with umdemulator from the memory stick. then press X and it should work.

can I use a umd emulater w/ a 128mb memory stick? I also have 2 32mb stick. I dont know much about this but It seem VERY interesting to me. I have nes and snes emulators but I wana emulate PSP games. Can someone please tell me the requirements for this? I have a 1.5 Psp thanx ---D

You can use UMDemulator with any size memory stick. The problem is the size of the games. the UMD disc holds up to 1.8 gigs. I play games that rang anywhere from 241 megs to 900 megs. Now you can shrink the games down. Some of the ones I play are shrunk. I took one from 1.3 gigs down to 600 megs and didn't loose any sound or anything. The thing is that in order to get them down to a small size a lot of people are removing sound files, movies, different things. I have a 1 gig stick and a 512 stick. with some games I can put more than one on the 1 gig, but even with that it gets to be a pain in the butt swapping them out to play another game. If I was you I would get a bigger stick. If I was you I would also save up and get a 2 gig stick or the four if you can get the money. That way I would be able to dump any of the games from the UMD to the memory stick. The smallest I would get is a 1 gig. I myself hope that the rumers are true that they are coming out with a 50 gig hard drive for it to compete with the MP3 players.. I would buy one of those.. Ya.. Ya. Ya.. Ya.. Wipes lip....

So If I have a big enough memory stick I can Rip games from a UMD in the PSP Right to the memory stick duo and not need that umd to play it? IE. a 2 gig stick (wich is ridiculously expensive)
So basically its not worth trying to emulate psp games with a 128mb stick >:{

Basically you are right.. The 128 stick is to small for 99% of the games. If you want to be able to download from a orig UMD to your psp I would get a 2 gig stick. Or if you have the orig and can download the games from a peer to peer then you could get them already shrank to less than a 1 gig stick. So if you had the money then a 2 gig is the best or a 1 gig if you could get them from somewhere else..

But you can't play some copy of UMD with 1.5, for example GTA or GoF. In 2006 maybe more copy of UMD that we can't play with 1.5, just think twice to buy 2 gigs..

in a way he is right. There are some games that you can't play yet.. For example GTA.. BUT they are working on making it to where you can play homebrew on the newer firmware versions. SO.. When they do come out with a UMDEMULATOR for 2.06 (or so) then you will be able to play everything. They already have some homebrew working on it (pong, other small programs..) So it is getting close. But then again you could do like I did and get a 1 gig and then wish I had a 2 gig. But hell you could get a 4 gig or wait until they come out with the 50 gig hard drive (if the rumors are true) or hell Just wait until the PSP2 comesout in a couple years. there is always the greeener grass. But like I said:
128 meg = NO
512 meg = so so
1 gig = good
2 gigs = better
4 gigs real good
50 gigs = hell yes or should I say maybe hell yes
But there is another major factor. Money.. if you are a kid and your parents look at you crosseyed when you ask for a supersized fry instead of a reg one then you can save up for a 512 or 1 gig. If you are single with no kids and have a good job well then it is up to you. If you are a rich kid with your parents credit cards, a doctor, Plant operator, or lotery winner then why even ask... then again some day they will come and offer you two different colored memory sticks and tell you that you are "the one" and then you will have to deside If you want the blue one and just go on living your life or the red one and go on to save the world........ ooops got off track for a sec there.. look it all comes down to money. but the 128 meg is not for this...

hey all,
I can load up Legend of Heroes without a problem however when i save, it saves a corrupt file which i cant load up. And it aint the kind of game i can complete in one sitting... well maybe... lol. Any suggestions what could be wrong.
