i have just started using bittorrent and i wonder if anybody can help me i have read all the guides and searched for this problem to no avail.
after checking my ports with the portforwarding guide and checking i have a static ip using the same guide.
i am using a d-link router and kerio firewall i have set ports to 16969 so as to avoid the 6881 syndrome i have also set utorrent to the same ports.
no matter what i do i am showing nat error on the utorrent screen is this because i am using non private sites for downloads and if it is how do i go about getting an invite to a private site.
i have just registered with bitsoup and my speeds have increased slightly 20-30kbs but i am still getting a nat error btw i have a 2meg bband connection- am i missing something stupid
