Hey all,
Just recently i've put in a gigabyte 6600gt agp 128mb and i've received the Nvidia pop up of "card is not receiving sufficient power" once or twice since i've installed the card its been a good month now; I leave my pc on 24/7 pretty much so i noticed this when i got back home, it hasn't popped up during gaming though (HL2, DOD:S, CS:S, QUAKE4, AOEIII, NFS:MW).

I'm thinking of getting a Coolermaster Extreme 430W Silent priced at $60 @ msy.com.au where i always shop :P

My Specs are:-
P4 3.0ghz Northwood
Asus P4P800 Deluxe
2 x 512MB DDR400 Samsung RAM
PSU Omhi 350Watt (Rails - 12V 13A , -5V 25A)
Leadtek Winfast Analog TV Tuner
Creative SB Live 128 Soundcard
Gigabyte 6600GT 128mb AGP
Seagate 60Gig IDE 7200RPM
WD 8M 80Gig IDE 7200RPM
Seagate 8M 160Gig SATA
Pioneer DVD-Rom
Pioneer 109 DVD-RW
10mm Case Fan

Future Plans (Overclocking 6600GT & P4 3Ghz with new cooling):-
Zalman 7000B-Cu
Zalman VF700
Seagate 8M 400Gig SATA
3 x 10mm Case Fan

What do you guys suggest?

Your existing PSU is at the bottom limit to run any vid card that requires a power source along with all the other components in your computer.

I found that out when I installed a Radeon 9700 Pro, 2 years ago. The new PS you are talking about should be large enough, but computers components now, have a requirement of more watts than turning on all of the lights in my house. LOL

Life is good!

Yikes! I just went to that msy.com.au website - dude that's harsh.
I've seen friendlier catalogues...
You need big watts, probably split-rail 12V would be good for you.
Here are popular PS's for you to look at (Canadian and Australian dollars are almost identical):

I have had very good luck with OCZ ModStream units, and the trick looking cabling is top-quality too:

You will probably need more than $60 bucks for a good unit - remember that QUALITY of power is at least as important as quantity...
