i know this may annoy some people but this is something i cud not find an answer of the forum.

i am try to back up my games using dvd decrypter. it burns to a ceratin extent say 35% or 69%, sometimes even 3% and then gives me an I/O error. my dvd writer is AOpen DUW1608/ARR. The media i have tried are maxell,sony,fujitsu and verbatim- these are apparently the best ones but with no luck. my firmware is also the latest.

i have tried 4x -R and 8x +R and tried burning them at half speed say 4x at 2x and 8x at 4x.

any suggestions how 2 resolve it.

i got this I/O Error wid Nero 6 as well. so r u sure this is a software problem or cud it be wid my dvd-writer?

Trouble shoot your DVD Writer. Go to the website of the make and click Suport.
