If the question is will the encryption (if any) be broken, it depends on decrypter. It will do some, but if you are doing a 1:1 copy it will not matter. Just follow the guide and you will have an exact copy of the origonal.

I got the extended versions of all the lord of the rings movies, which came in 2 DVD-9 discs for each film... (and you had to swap them half way through the movie, which sucked!) onto 1 DVD-5 for each entire movie with a bit of editing and so on with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.. can't tell the difference from the originals in terms of quality..and of course I can watch the entire movie with no swapping discs half way through :)

Way to go, Paddymail! I've found that any movie up to three hours can be put on a DVD-5 disk without compromising the quality and I watch my movies on a 57" TV. It doesn't make any difference what the size of the orignal file was. Anything over 3 hours starts to show annoying picture deterioration.

With the Ring epic, does anyone ever really watch those endless credits at the end of each episode????
