i have sony dru500a which has been working real well but i have not been able to copy band of brothers all my other movies so far have copied with almost no problems but i could not get this to work i am using dvd x copy it seems to copy but would not burn can anybody help me
Band Of Brothers contains 2 episodes per dvd. You have to rip each episode seperatly. I don't have a link to show you how this process is done. Hopefully Dela or Sefy can help you further on this one m8.

Well i see this is an ongoing thread i hope this helps as i dont have a dual episode dvd in front of me but as i recall i made 2 folders i ripped the first long play angle of band of brothers using direct stream copy smart ripper to the first folder and after completion i chose the second long play angle direct stream copy smartripper and saved them to the second folder and renamed all the vobs in both folder starting with folder one starting with vob 0 and named it 1-8 ending in the second folder this aligned all the files to make it one seamless movie when i flasked it using flask mpeg ive seen this question 5 times so far tonight i have a tutorial up but now i see there is a need for an expansion on this subject alone keep checking my site here for an update on this issue. http://www.angelfire.com/in4/sigscreamer/dvd.html

Nice tutorial lasiter! However, there's way too much transcoding going your route. The more easy way is to rip the dvd to your hd, then use TMPEnc to convert to VCD. Here's a helpful guide to help you.
