i have currently switched my security suite from mcafee to zone labs security suite. It has a nice feature on it that would help some people out with how to decide what upload number is right for them on the p2p apps. When zone labs is enabled it has a little icon that is on in the tool bar that has bars that light up green and tell u how much internet dl ur using and it also has a red bar that shows you ur upload that is being used, I have done my recearch and found out you should use about 80% of ur upload on p2p clients and its easy to figure it out with this security suite installed

you are correct on the statement regarding down to up ratio.

Just to add, any regular P2P user needs either protowall or peer guardian, or both.
