Hey guys,
I am upgrading computer. This is what I have so far:

1. AMD 64 4000
2. XFX GeForce 7800 GT
3. Asus A8N-E

This is what I need:

1. CASE and POWER SUPPLY
2. FAN-CPU
3. MEMORY(RAM)

What case should I purchase and I need to purchase the 400 Watt PSU. I just need to know a good brand. Also, I was told to purchase a third party Fan because I guess they are better. I also need to purchase 1 GIG of ram. I would prefer dual channel, but I need to know the brand and the type.

Will someone please help me.

P.S.
What about if I purchase the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi? Is it a waste of money?

You probably should get a bigger power supply then 400W since the minimum for the 7800GT is 350W. Especially when you start adding Cdrom/Dvdrom and hard drives. Antec is a good brand. As for the X-Fi depends on what you plan on using the computer. My friends say that games sound better on it. Ram you can go for OCZ or Corsair PC3200. Case Antec, Cool Master , or Thermaltake.

Dont let the door hit you on the way out, beacause I dont want ass prints on my new door!

Big fan of Antec Power Supplies. Both my computers have them. I do not believe in going cheap with a power supply. Its not worth it. I agree that 400W is a little low. I'd say go with about a 500 Watter or so. I also put OCZ memory in my latest computer and it seems to run great. Believe it or not the stock fan that came with my AMD64 X2 4400 was really good. My pc is about 26 degrees celcius at idle and barely breaks 36 or 37 degrees on a full load. The case is more up to you. I find that www.newegg.com has a good selection and really good pictures to help you decide.

So which POWER SUPPLY then. What specific MEMORY? But, doesn't a case make a differnce when it comes to keeping the CPU cool?

Memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227039
or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227039 if you want performance memory

Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103937 or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103924 (this is the one I got because it has XConnect cables)

Case does make a difference. If you go with a good gaming case with the appropriate fans it should provide you with adequate cooling.
