PS 2 wont play DVD's now!

(Not sure if this is the right area for this question), but I made my first backup copy of PON last night which seems to be working great, but now our modded PS2 wont play DVD's.

Is this normal? Do you lose this capability once chipped?

Please help.

No, it should be abe to boot up any DVD ps2............ Contact your solderer and complain.
