Hi guys, I wanted to make a back-up of my new NFSMW PS2 game my wife got me for Christmas so that my son could play it also, he would ruin my main copy in a day. All the DVD media I have right now is DVD+R can I use this or will I waste a disk? Do I have to buy DVD-R for this? As always I thank you all for your help, and I hope you all have a great Christmas.
I'm pretty sure that you could backup to DVD+R, don't hold me to that, I just recall seeing it somewhere that someone had done it, I think my friend uses them. But I personally use DVD-R's and have never had a single problem, except for backing up my Xenosaga >.<
But as per Need for Speed Most Wanted, I just did a simple backup and burn to a DVD-R and had no problems,
Thanks for the fast reply, I just spent some time reading through Tokijins post to help with simple questions and wanted to say I'm sorry for making this simple post and wasting forum space, next time I will spent a little MORE time looking around before I ask a question. Sorry and thanks again.
Well, as long as you have a V4 or above it should play either
But like above i prefer the DVD-R in 8X speed.
I just seem to have much better luck with -R
I usually do movies on +R though.
No problems. Yes, Tokijin's Guide is extremely helpful, but it's no problem for anyone here to answer a question. I think the harshest response I've ever seen here yet has been "look it up" But if I'm on and know I'm glad to answer a question XD.
