i would like to know whichanti-virus/firewall is the best to use,at the moment i am using norton internet security 2006 which i am having problems with.

I'm no pro in this category, but I'd recommend Defender Pro. I had Norton before and it didn't really do it's job, but DP has been very good to me!

Agnitum Outpost Pro is very lightweight and effective firewall. Nod32 or Kaspersky are excellent antiviruses.

i use norton internet security 2005 which works fine, the best rated firewall is in fact Zone Alarm so just download the free version and for AV download AVG personal antivirus or search in google for top rated antivirus that are free...
or you could buy Zone Alarm AntiVirus, pretty cheap but effective as far as i know...

I have a copy of AVG 7.0 and it couldn't even get rid of a virus. It's rubbish.
