I agree with you Hursty, but some people are just too cheap to spend the money on newsgroups.

This site gets as indepth as you need: http://slyck.com/ng.php?page=1.

I personally have a Giganews account, which has been completely satisfactory for me. They have three different accounts to choose from and their retention rate is 70 days. Also, contrary to what some may say, they don't put a cap on you even if you have the "Unlimited" account. I'm at 123gb and counting!!

Forgot this in the previous post: You're going to need a newsreader program, which can be found on page 3 on my previous link.

Grabit is a very "easy to use" program and it is free. Might want to start with that one.

Once you have your account, they will send you an email with all of that information. You will have to put in both server name and user/pass.

@hursty: Luckily, I have never had to use that program, but just in case, is there a instruction guide for QuickPAR?

its easy to use
you just install it,and then when the download is done,
you click/open the smallest PAR file, open it with quickpar
it will check all the rar files, and repair them with the par files that come with the download

here's what i use

server from here

www.100proofnews.com (although they have now gone from unlimited to 100 gb a month for $12.95

grabit from here (app to download files)

www.shemes.com

quickpar from here

http://www.quickpar.org.uk/

here are some sites you can use

www.nzbrus.com (free),(but no option to re-download missing files)
www.newzbin.com (25p a week,but worth it)..>> my choice
www.nzb-world.com (not much here)
www.nzbzone.com (ok-ish)

Have you added PS2 newsgroups to your server yet? If not, you will need to add them first. These are two of the main groups: alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2 and alt.binaries.cd.image.playstation2.dvdiso (not sure about the second one...at work and can't see my list). Once those are added, you just click on it and it will pull up all of the posts there. From there you can do a "Find" or just scroll through.

Good Luck!

You have to click on all 64 of them. They'll be in RAR format, so it will go quick!

then just use a torrent site.
It may be slower, but it's free.
