Burned it successfully using DVD Decrypter.
MODE, ISO, Read R to hard drive and wait unitl it's completed
MODE, ISO, Write and choose MDS file to burner with Taiyo Yuden media at 4X
Plays flawlessly.

hi, i have an iso for the warriors and it is 4,169,120 kb! will this need rebuilding to work on sm 3.6?? i havent tried copying it yet but i thought the image had to be smaller than that for TOC reasons or sumfin?
Also if it does need rebuilding what files need to be removed etc?

No it doesn't need rebuilding... if you'd looked in the signatures of the people that posted that it works fine without rebuild, you'd have seen that some of us have swap magic 3.6.
Also, if someone says that it doesn't need a rebuild, then they're talking about swap magic anyway... as you don't need to rebuild games for modchips.

It might work with DVD+R, it depends on the version ps2 you have... you could always try it and that way you'd know in the future if it likes DVD+R or not.
good luck

So, you tried it 2 times? the first time it burned, but wouldn't boot? and the second time you got an error from your burner?
What media were you using? and what version is your ps2? if it's a slim, you do have the slimtools or magic switch or whatever to stop the ps2 resetting after swap haven't you?
Buy some more DVD-R, good quality like verbatim, taiyo yude, ritek etc(been mentioned on here many times what is considered good media) and then try again.

wel i actually think that both times i copied it failed i just didnt notice the first time cus i was just doing something else n then my comp crashed. Anyway for both copies i was using 4.7GB 4X DVD+R Bulkpaq with printable surface. I used the same make but in DVD-R for my other games but i have only copied 3 games so far that work Fifa 06, Pes5 and GUN. I have been having trouble with Smackdown Vs Raw 2006 and Warriors.
I wondered if that the image was too big for the disc? because i selected an option that says "close disc so that no further writing is possible"? would that make a difference.
also would it be better to mount the image on a virtual drive then do a copy disc on Nero, or is it best to use Nero burning rom an open the image there to burn??

oh yeah, and i have the fat ps2 not the slimline one, and it was probably bort about 2 years ago. I'm using the Ps2 slidetool with swap magic 3.6 to play the copies.

Get better media in DVD-R format 8x and burn at 4x... and the smackdown vs raw needs a rebuild to work with swap magic.
You'll continue to have problems with some of your burns if you don't get better media, it's your call.
good luck with it

Try using DVD Decrypter to burn the game: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/
Also, get rid of those Bulkpaq DVD's and try one of the brands that paddymail mentioned.
With Smackdown vs. Raw, there is a dummy file in it, so you will need to get rid of that before you burn it.

Yep, thanks Jamaal.. forgot to mention that you could try using DVD Decrypter. You could also use imgburn program or other image burning program to burn the iso too if you're having problems getting Nero to work for you.
good luck with it and happy christmas guys :)

Run us through what you did when you tried to burn with DVD Decrypter and we'll try and help you??
As for smackdown vs raw... did you try the gnie's expert tool? not sure if it'll work with that game or not as I don't have that game, but worth a shot.
Good luck

i opened the image for warriors, then went mode>iso>write, inserted the disc and clicked on the big icon at the bottom then a big error sign came up and wouldn't copy.
However, i just found a DVD-R disc lying around and are copying warriors usng dvd decryptor and is on 30% so far, so fingers crossed it'll work, i'll let u no.
As for that gnie thing i'll take a look at it. i hjave the original version of smackdown 2006 of a friend so i cant imagine it should be that hard to do. the only problem i found was that the dummy file was 600mb and .dat which came up as a movie file for some reason. the file was too big to open in notepad and practically froze my comp wen i opened it in wordpad, so i did wot sum1 sed to do on the smackdown forum and created a new dummy file by opening notepad tapping space bar twice then saving it over the original dummy file. This still didn't seem to solve the problem and im sure i did everything right?

Just as i was about to turn my ps2 off cus i thort it had failed agen, the rockstar logo appeared and it started to load. but very slowly!! and it took about 5 minutes for the next screen to appear with them stars in a circle around the mountain. What could be the problem?? the dvds i used or sumthing else?

Wait until you get the better media.. and then try it.
It's not that I don't want to help you.. it's just not worth specualting what it could be when you burned on a "disc just lying around".. it doesn't instill confidence that it was a good brand or anything, LOL.
Let me know how you get on when you've tried it with some good media and if you're still having problems I'll do everything I can to help you out I promise!!
good luck with it, and I hope you enjoy your xmas :)
