Howdy, I apologize if this question falls under the wrong category..

Stream Processing in DVD Decrypter.. what is it? lol I can't seem to find an answer on the net explaining what it is. Is it simply a means to to choose which audio streams you want in the backup? My goal is to make ISO backups of my DVD collection only removing the encryptions and region code. I've been told to keep the default settings but I'm curious about the Stream Processing tab

That's the default setting.. Convert PCM to Wav.. what does that mean exactly? Is it going to change the raw audio container format in my ISO backup? Or is it something else?

and do I want it enabled?

Yep, DVD Shrink I think is one of the best programs to do what you want.. You only have to set it once to make it region free all your discs.. and protection is obviously taken care of anyway.

It's very easy to use, and it's free.

good luck with it, check out the guides section for DVD Shrink if you want to learn how to use it.

Trying to get the feel for DVD Decrypter. I do use DVD Shrink but find, some of the time, I'll end up back with decrypter to break stubborn encryptions. I also like the fact that encrypter incorporates additional folders on the source DVD into the image like weblinks, autorun, etc, etc. where DVD Shrink doesn't.
