ok i have the dms4 ezi lite chip with toxicbios 1.3 installed on it

i have followed the steps to copy using dvd decrypter burning (the more simple mode/iso/read then write) also a rebuild as posted in the sticky thread at 4x but every attempt i have made comes up with a disk read error

it plays copied movies ps1 games and cd versions of ps2 games with out a hitch but some reason it wont play dvd game backups

i use verbatim dvd+r 4.7 gig media burning in a emprex dvd dual layer burner

First off, you might want to try DVD-R discs, it might be your ps2 doesn't like +R, or try burning at higher and/or lower speeds. Also, except for dnas patching, there should be no need to rebuild your games, since you have a the chip.

yes, the chip would be. But that does not mean the +R will
work right in his PS2.
I have a DMS4 Pro and both my PS2's seem to hate the +R media
could be that my burner just does a better job with -R
But i always get DVD-R 8X speed and burn at 4X
no problems at all.
and just so you know there is an updated version for your chip
http://www.teamtoxic.com.cn/ ToxicBIOS V1.4 is out now :)
it could also be the firmware for your burner is out of date.
check what you have then check here to see if there is a newer one.
