Hi all, can soemone help me?

I've been reading the forum for a couple days and seem to get more confused. What is needed to complete a new DVD backup using AnyDVD? Does AnyDVD just decrypt the original DVD? Do i need to purchase DVD Clone to burn from the hard drive to the new backup DVD? Or does DVD Clone just read the original DVD? Do I need to download Nero 6 to burn? Confused! I feel better already.....

anydvd runs in the background to remove protection and a few other things. if u have the cash get clondvd2 and that should be all u need to back-up movies. if ur looking for a more frugal way u can get dvd fabdecrypter (free here at ad),shrink(free too), and dvddecrypter for the burn engine. use dvdfabdecrypter to rip to hdd(be sure to remember where it puts the file), then open shrink and select dvddecrypter to burn with then find the file with shrink, then click backup at the top of the page. all three of these apps can be found at the homepage here at ad (filepedia.com). there are many guides here as well for these apps. there are a couple in my sig.

Since AnyDVD decrypts "on the fly", it actually saves a step. When activated, only steps required are "shrink and burn".
