I was reading about how many ppl they sued, are u guys worried about them? I live in Canada, i think it's legal for us, but i'm still worried. what do u guys think?

Downloading is legal for you Canadians, so you can freely leech from p2p clients. If you use BT however, you have to upload hence making it illegal.

I wouldn't get yourself in a panic.

When using p2p, just bear a few things in mind~

Don't download things you don't really need, i.e unless you would usually but it, don't bother downloading it.

Make sure you have peerguardian2 installed into your PC and have it running at all times when using any p2p client.

It blocks out many i.p's including those of major coroprations who may be the ones that sue you if they catch you out.

yeah i'm not worried about bittorrent cuz RIAA only filters out songs, and i use limewire to download songs, I don't even think RIAA looks for bittorrent users

Naw, that's in fact not true. Sure the RIAA only deals with music, but the MPAA are just as bad and they deal with the movies side of things. And if independent companies find you downloading their software, they may also file a suit against you. The RIAA does go for bittorrent users, and here's proof
