Im trying to make an MP3 CD of loads of horrible music for the gf but i want it to do it in the order i want.

Madonna albumn Tracks 1-11
Goldfrapp Tracks 1-11
Take That 1-19

BUT!

What it does is

Madonna 1
Goldfrapp 1
Take That 1
Madonna 2
Goldfrapp 2
Take That 2

etc..
etc..

If you see what i mean...its very annoying... I have Nero 7/ Media Monkey and of course the windows cd burner but they do it according to name!

Please Help!

First of all, make sure there are separate folders for each album. 2ndly rename the files so it has the track number at the beggining of the file name and in the ID tag put what ever track number it is in. You can easily rename files with a program called Tag & Rename. Just google the name.

Unfortunatley this in car MP3 CD player is a bit pants...it does not allow folders... which is half the problem really because if it did then i could just put in the folders.

It only allows mp3s in the ROOT of the cd..... That is why im having problem with the list..

There must be another way of burning files is an order of your choosing without renaming them all..

cheers!

That is a nuisance. The only way I can think of getting round this is to rename the mp3's in the order you want from number 1 till the last. So say if you had a hundred mp3's the 1st one would have number 1 in the title and the last file would have 100 in the title. You could also do the same for the ID tags.
