Hi i have an intel celeron 2.7ghz 512MB ram(about to upgrADE to 1meg) geforce FX 5200. With these i can currently play prince of persia two thrones, fifa 06, Half life 2, quake 4, nfs most wanted e.t.c on default graphics with no problem wat so ever. But im plannin on upgradin the Card to handle games like fear on a budget of £60. the gef 6200 seemed like the best ption but i just wanted to find out every1s opinion. Also my current card runs on a pci bus but the 6200 on AGP. would i be able to install it? Thanx 4 all replys

You'd be able to install it if you have an AGP slot. Give me your motherboard manufacturer and model number and I'll see what your options are becasue FX 5200's have PCI and AGP interfaces. Ive got a 2.8 Celeron and 512RAM (also planning on upgrading to 1 gig) and I HAD an FX5200. The default settings on games like NFS:MW, quake 4 and half-life 2 are pretty crappy. Don't waste time and money on 6200 if you already got an FX5200 because you will not notice any difference especially with a Celeron. Celerons are not made for gaming hopefully you already know that.

Actually eMachines 620 is you PC manufacturer and model number :) and I'm still not sure whether you have AGP or not. that FX5200 you have is 64MB and I'm pretty sure its PCI, not AGP nor PCI-express. Can you open up your case and tell me which slot your video card is plugged into???

The brown one is AGP and the white one is PCI. Which slot is yours plugged in to?

Yes it says evenm when i open up graphic properties on the computer thats its PCI bus used. But on the front of my computer the specs say '3D AGP GFX 5200 64MB with TV out. Also i think its connected to the gray slots because last time i checked the white slot was empty
