I have a Mod Chip and and DVD burner and I wont to no how to download games for free
I want a programe like Kazaa or WinMX or Morpheous. where i can just type in the name of the game and it will download

You would be better off getting something that has to do with a torrent. Get a program like BitTorrent or Azureus. You can just google search torrents and you will come up with many, MANY sites. I belive that there is a thread though that has links to a heckuva lot of torrent sites.

Then what in the world are you doing on the DVD Backup discussion?!
Do you really think that all these people who are asking about ps2 "backups" are really back-uping them?
I dont think modchips and Swap Magics were made for backups.....

Your question "do you think people is really askin this and that to backup originals instead of playing pirate copies" almost made me puke.
Yes, there's a lot of people like me who buy original games and collect them, and hate the idea of the disc get ruined and scratched by the console laser.. so we try hard to make a playable copy of the game, cause we don't buy it only for collecting purposes.
As for you, asking about how to do something illegal on a public forum... you should really think twice or thrice before doing that.
Remember.. real gamers BUY their games.

That's not the truth... - I mean - I know there's a lot of people interested in game burning only to play pirate copies, but that's not my case, neither the case of my friends, neither the case of TRUE gamers. And that's all for this matter.

Well that's your take on it. As much as I love videogames, I have no money to spend on them. See people have house/rent payments, tuition, utilities, insurance, car payments, and a helluva a lot of other things to worry about it. I'm an unemployed college student living at home. I have no money to spend on games. That goes for a lot of people on AD. Put yourself in someone else's shoes before you judge them. That's narrowmindness at its worst. Cheers!

When you say "put yourself in others shoes" you could just say "think of yourself some years ago" when I was going to school and I had no money.. I never dreamt about pirating games just to play it.. If I wanted a game that badly, I tried to find a way to get the money to buy it.. or I tried to get the right game at birthday or xmas.. and I am certainly not rich right now.. I have a job, but I have to save money to buy a house, and I have a lot of bills, like car insurance, fuel, and so on. And I am not buying 10 games a month.. I am trying to say that money shortage isn't a justification for piracy...
And in any case the description of this forum says "NO PIRACY" so I think it's really clear enough..

@sgro- i think enough is enuf. u had ur say and others had their say. everyone is entitled to their opinions so there is no point in arguing or "flaming" this thread.
by the way, whether piracy is being discussed or not is for the moderators to decide. and since you are here try doing something constructive like help others.

Well that's your value system. Different people have different values. You can't judge people who have different ideals by your own. I'm not saying you're right or wrong, only that what works for you may not work for everyone else. If you've never pirated a game, good for you. That being the case, you can't say anyone who has is a bad person or thief. Right and Wrong are very subjective. It sounds to me like you're trying to preach at anyone who may pirate games. I have little tolerance for that. Every man has skeletons in his closet. Often those who point out others have the biggest ones to hide.

if you pay $70+ (im talking AU$) of your hard earned money on a game would you want to use the original, when disks are so fragile?
besides, there seems to be a lot of people around this forum that just love the challenge of backing something up, even if they dont like the game... sure beats doing drugs hey :P
p.s. is anyone still trying to work out how to backup rubgy league 2? i played it at a friends place and it wasn't that great but c'mon, dont let the kiwi's beat us! hehe

There's a whole thread about RL2. One person claims to have backed it up and played it with the Ghost 2 chip. I'm not sure I believe him, and even if I did, the Ghost 2 isn't in the same class as the DMS 4 Pro SE or Matrix Infinity according to the modders I've talked to. Yeah I couldn't help but notice your sig. I have a question that hasn't been answered: why are you still here? If you all you're going to do is lecture people on piracy and make non sensical threats about contacting the FBI, why do you post here? Whether people choose to pirate games or not is none of your concern. If you have something constructive to add to the forums, by all means do. If not, get out and stay out. Cheers!
