I have a Nokia 6101 locked to T-mobile in the US. I travel often and would love to have it unlocked so I can use it abroad. Can someone help me? Thanks.

Please note: If you have already activated this phone and are using it with T-Mobile, the code may show you "phone restrictions on" . There seems to be a dating issue on these models and some unlock and some don't and it depends on if the phone has been activated already.

Yeah - that didn't work. Is it just the t-mobile USA models that have this timing problem as I don't see these warnings attached to any of the other requests for unlock codes? Also - are there not usually 7 codes that are generated? Is there nothing else I can do to unlock the phone then?

No, the timing issue seems to be with all 6101's and Cingular 6102's but 90% of them usually unlock. People have been taking the phones back and exchanging them for new ones and unlocking with no problem.

Not sure if my Nokia 6101 will have the same problem or not. Can you provide unlock codes on 2 phones for me?

i have a t-mobile 6101 with imei #357064002424302 which i am trying to use abroad of the states. it is using 1800mhz only when it can use 900mhz. can anyone tell me an unlock code for this phone?
