I completely understand the process as explained by the previous forums

Hardware
1. Sony Vaio with the Pioneer DVD-RW

What type of media to use and where to get it from.

I assume that with DVD Encrypter and ISO Edit, I should have no problem with staight 1:1 copying and splitting 1:2.

Just a little clarification if you guys could please.

Basically you have got the right idea. I use bulkpak.co.uk media for £2.50 each (DVD-R). If you intend to use the disks in a stand alone DVD player that you check it can read DVD-R disks.

I get mine from
http://www.cdrom2go.com

1.98 a piece (no case) if you buy 100
2.29 a piece (no case) for 25.

Haven't had any problems burning to them.

Anyone know if this media will have problems with Sony settop's or the PS2.

Can you play backup DVD's on a PS2.
