Okay i'm not sure exactly where I should post this but this seems like a thread it could be in.

Anyways this problem has to do with my friends PC. He's hooked up through a wireless router with a DSL connection. Lately his PC has been pretty slow about downloading, such as with watching videos online it downloads/buffers w/e slow, and when he tries to download anything such as demos or music or anything it goes just super slow i mean like 50KB/sec. Anyways me and him both thought it could be just b/c all he had was 256MB of RAM so he bought more RAM, now he has a 256MB and 512MB stick of ram and his internet runs really fast and that really wasn't a problem before his internet ran fine it was just his downloads, but his downloads are still really slow. Also the little 'internet connection' icon that is down in the notification area of the taskbar you know that shows your connection status well his speed is at 11-15.0Mbps opposed to mine that is 100-120MBps usually, so we've figured that is where the problem lies, so now all we need to figure out is how we can fix it. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Also if anymore info is need let me know.
