I'm considering Lite On SOHW-1693S Internal Dual DVD+/-RW. Is it any good?

I hsve the lite-on 1693s and like it very much. I had trouble book
typing it but that was operator error. Now that i have that figured
out it works great.

I didn't want to create another thread, but am looking to purchase a LightScribe. Is there another manufacture other than HP and BenQ? Which is better? Looking to get an external drive.

I just got one of those Lite-ON SOHW 16935 Its OK. Its really cheap too you can get one on newegg for about $40. I wouldnt say its top of the line but it gets the job done. If you want a really good burner Plextor is the best in my opinion.

Im looking at the BenQ 1655 right now, if anyone has any additional info, please let us know...yes, it's lightscribe.
