hi all,
ive been burnin films for about a year now. up untill now i havent really had any problems with my burner, 'Plextor px-712a' ive updated the firmware and everything but i keep gettin fails on my dvd-videos, not data, or audio, they burn fine.(sumtimes with 'buffer underrun' though)but still burn sucessfully. With Dvd Video its a different story, i know its the buffer becuase it decrypts slow on decrypter at very slow speeds. Also you can see the speed of the buffer during nero and its always low. Please can sumone help me???

This will cause problems, set target size to 4300 so you do not burn too close to the edge.
I would suggest that you check to see if your system has slipped into PIO mode. I can't tell from this log as it is not indicated from what I see. Use this link to assist in resetting it to DMA:

It doesn't seem to like your media either. The log file doesn't show your firmware version, at least I don't see it, but the latest is 1.07 make sure you have it. You can get it here:

you're still missing the first bit. the actual logfile itself lives here - c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar.

4465MB is burning to the outer edge of discs. If you use DVD Shrink, set target size to 4300MB in Shrink's preferences thus avoiding outer edge and not sacrificing much space
