I seem to be having some problems with this game. When playing the movies, it is choppy. Also, most of time, ultimates/ougis cause the game to freeze. I used Ritek dvds and burned at 4x using alcohol 120%. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I burned at 4x on a 8x Maxell DVD-R with DVD Decrypter and have had no problems.

Maybe try lowering the burning speed some and see if that works.

And what speed are the DVD-Rs you are using.

How many times do we have to say that memorex suck big time.... get some good quality media such as taiyo yuden, verbatim, ritekG04 or G05, sony, tdk, maxell DVD-R 8x and burn them at 4x.

I do have some Sony dvd-rs, but they seem to be incompatible with my dvd burner.
---------------
EDIT: I just used my sony dvdrs but it still does the same thing. Any more suggestions?

Did you burn at 4x? Before you burn make sure you turn off all background programs including the internet and anti-virus and don't use the computer for anything until it's finished burning (you may want to make sure your screensaver doesn't come on too)
What dvd writer do you have by the way? and does it ahve the latest firmware?
Try using DVD Decrypter to write the iso or Nero in burn image mode.
A few people like alchohol120%, but I never liked it personally... give those things a try and then get back to me and let me know how you got on?

I have a BenQ DW1620 Pro, and yes, it does have the lasest firmware, which I updated last weekend. I didnt burn it at 4x but at 2.4x using DVD Decrypter, CloneDVD, and Alcohol. But they all yielded the same results. I used both Sony and Memorex dvd-rs using those settings.

Try it at 4x, it shouldn't be choppy then... with the sony's I mean.. don't use the memorex for ps2 backups as you'll get crappy backups with them.

I burned it again on the Sony dvd using dvd decrypter and nero at 4x and 2.4x, but it still freezes when using an ougi for the third or fourth time. I don't know what is wrong.

I might get a different brand of media tomorrow and test that out. Also, do you think using special boot (for swap magic) make a difference.

You could try using special boot, but I've never used it in all the time I've had it.

@Shinjos7
What do you mean memory of Narutimate 3? Are u talking about the size of the dvd or the space it needs for a save game?

No worries, glad we could help.. let us know if you have any more problems with it.. but you shouldn't do now you're using good media.
Not that the sony's aren't good... just that your burner didn't like them maybe.

Happy xmas
