I have a modded ps2 with a duo chip.
I'm burning with a phillips dvd+rw dvd8701 burner
I've tried alcohol 120% and dvd decrypter and some games will play and some won't(sw-Battlefront II, tiger woods, ultimate spiderman)

Yes, I mistakenly am using memorex 4x dvd r-s, but some games work fine and the others mentioned above come out scrambled or do not boot

My questions are:

Do I have to rebuild these isos even though I'm not using swap magic?
Is the problem the iso that I downloaded?
Should I be burning at a certain speed for different sized games?
Is the problem the media? (memorex)
Are these games encrypted so as not to be backed up?

In other words, how can I get these games to play

some download games wont work.

If this is true,Does anyone have a list of the game titles that won't work?

Isn't there a way around this?

Sometimes you can get a bad .iso,but I have never had that problem.

Its 99.9% most likely the media,pick up some 8x DVD-Rs of a good brand.
