search the forums as there are a billion posts on how to burn games.
It is not a cut and dry thing unless you have a mod chip.
If you use Swap Magic there will be a few that will need dummy files replaced, or need to be rebuilt so i would study up on that too.
Just to a search on the name of the game and see if anyone posted up problems with it then see how it was solved.

Here's the easiest way to "rebuild PS2 games" http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350 - try it and see how you like it. Other than that if the game is under 4.7GB then you can just burn the game.
Pop a bottle of Tequila and have 6 shots in prior to the ripping process to soup up your burning process.
Now open up DVD Decrypter
- put original game inside dvd burner/dvd-rom drive
- Mode, Iso, Read (to your hard drive -- now sit tight, go smoke, have a few more shots of Tequila and wait until it's completed)
- put a high quality media insider burner (YUDEN, Verbs or Maxell (made in japan by Hitachi Corp.)
- Mode, Iso, Write
- choose the MDS file from your hard drive
- click on Write (now go smoke, have a few more shots of Tequila and comeback when it's done)
- now put that baby inside your PS2 console and play it like there's no tomorrow. That's it...... easy as sippin' on some Tequila.
