I am torn between what to buy. I heard good things from both sides but cannot decide.
And I can't decide who to buy off from online. I found tons of retailers but can't decide which ones are the most trustworthy.
Can anyone give any personal experiences with any sites selling either of these products?
Thanks.

I think that the fliptop is a lot easier to use than the slidecard... as for retailers, it would help if we knew which country you come from, then we can give you some ideas of who to get it from.
Oh, and don't forget to get good high quality media too.. like Taiyo yuden, verbatim, ritekG04 or G05, sony, maxell in DVD-R 8x discs.

From USA.
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I think I am going to get new dvd's because I had bought Memorex DVD+R 16x. From my research I've concluded that +R isn't the best choice.

You should try modmonster.com flip tops are so much easier and it only takes 30 seconds to install and play. Just need a screwdriver they give you a ups tracking number to tract where your package is and delivery is fast and everything i had was included just my opinion

Kakashi: That looks like a great and legit site. I am highly considering ordering from them.
I see that you live in Florida, and it only took 1 business day for the package to reach you?
One more question for you, if you don't mind, did you make backups from an original disc or was it downloaded? And if it was downloadedd, did it work with the Flip Top? Silly question to ask but I just want to make sure.
Thanks again for your help.
EDIT: I just saw your signature. Nice I am also going to try and backup the Naruto game because I love the anime. Along with Madden.

It took a little longer to get to me since it was out of stock when i ordered lol,but it still came quickly.
I have made backups from both downloads and original copies and have had no problems playing them.
And the Naruto-Narutimate Hero games are very good and well worth the burn, very deep and challenging fighting games,it was actually the main reason i got my fliptop lol.

@nik3t - The fliptop is just a way of swapping the discs... it's more to do with the way you burn the image files and what media you use that will make the difference whether they work or not.
I have now got around 150 backup games to use with my swap magic 3.6 and I've only ever found 2 games that I couldn't get to work... one was fifa street(I couldn't be bothered to find the patch for it) and the other was Gran Turismo 4 (It is a DVD-9 disc and has to be shrunk to fit on a DVD-5.. and I couldn't be bothered after the first try and it not working)
I've not actually downloaded any games, but I know how to do almost everything with them... I just can't be bothered to wait however long things take to download and everything.
Good luck with your games

Yeah I can verify that is a good site. I ordered my flip top and Breaker Pro from them, and it worked out well.

Hi, i have used slide card method for well over 1 year now, and i have had nothing but SUCCESS!
I didnt want to void my warrenty by getting a fliptop, so i got the slide card.
But, my silde card isnt like everyone elses...
It has a cover, so that its easy to slide it across, and you cant damage anything else inside the PS2! - isnt it great!
I got them from a german supplier, and i ordered 50 units, unfortunatly im sold out now.
But, i think if you want your sony warrenty intact, then slide card is the way to go.
If your warrenty is overdue, and you dont mind spending the extra chas, then filptop is for you!

@BootMe: I was thinking about getting the slide card to but I've already voided my warranty so I'm just going to go with the Flip Top, one of my friends' has the Flip Top and he's burned well over 100 games. Most of them were successful.
Again thanks a lot for all of your help.
Happy Holidays!
