Hi guys,
I've read some threads, but i'm having a specific problem.
I am trying to backup my MGS3 game for my PS2.
I'm using an LG burner, with maxell dvd-r's.
I've tried burning using nti dvd-maker, nero, and alcohol.
Neither of those works for my ps, i have a scph-30001.

what could i be missing? should i try it with dvd+r. Or is maxell just bad media? should i give dvd encryptor a try?

everyone on here always says to go with -R media, but i could never get my ps2 to pick up a -R dvd. i tried Philips and TDK and neither of those would work. i then got ballsy and tried burning a Sony +R dvd and the game worked beautifully. try a +R and see. cant hurt anything.

i might add that i use Nero 6.6 Burning Rom and i always burn my disc at 2.4x
