i just need someone to tell me step by step with some detail how this works. I'm going crazy looking through the forum for an answer, but nothing seems to work. Ok, I'm using the Swap Magic 3.6 discs, and installed the little things inside the PS2 like shown here...
Now... just explain to me how this works with the Swap Magix 3.6 (It seems that with every different version there are different things going on).
Now, this is what I do...
1 - Put in the DVD Swap Magic disc inside PSTwo
2 - Turn the power on, wait for the Load Program/Video screen to load
3 - Once I see it, i open the flip top and take out the Swap Magic disc and replace it with the Backup. I close the lid and then press X
Anything wrong there? All it does is just spin for a few seconds after pressing X (and even o) and then it stops spinning. Also, as soon as you open the lid and close it back up it automatically says in blue text "not valid PS2 disc" or something like that no matter what, even if it is a real game or the Swipe Magic CD itself. Regular games work without a problem though, even through Swipe Magic.
I also tried using the CD Swipe Magic disc, putting in my real copy of Soul Caliber 3 for the big TOC and then opening the flip top and replacing it with the backup, still same results... I was also wondering if you are supposed to literally "swap" the discs instead of just opening the flip top, because that seems like it would be VERY difficult to do...
I have a slim 700012 PSTwo, and i burned the backup with SONY DVD+R
So there you go, that's everything, am i doing anything wrong?
Well, is this the only game you can not play? How fast did you burned the game? Did you rebuild it correctly? Try this guide burned?http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350 and see if you'll have a different results.
